Fountain Hills Chamber Joins EVCCA
FOUNTAIN HILLS – The Fountain Hills Chamber is the last east valley organization to join the long-standing East Valley Chambers of Commerce Alliance.
The EVCCA, an alliance of east valley chambers, monitors and takes action on issues that impact east valley companies.
Represented at the Capitol by the Dorn Policy Group, the Alliance meets regularly throughout the year and weekly during the legislative session to ensure east valley companies from Scottsdale, Tempe, Chandler, Queen Creek, Apache Junction, Cave Creek/Carefree and Fountain Hills are heard when elected officials are discussing issues.
Major issues for the EVCCA include lowering the cost of doing business, building a trained workforce, efficient and effective governement and producing an annual legislative report card for the elected officials who represent east valley cities and towns.
“The addition of the Fountain Hill Chamber will demonstrate our commitment to work regionally with other chambers to ensure our members have a voice in government” remarked chamber ceo, Scott Soldat-Valezuela.
The Chamber’s board of directors believes Fountain Hills is part of a larger region of cities and towns and should be at the table when issues are discussed regarding taxes, employers, economic development and many other issues that concern the 350 member chamber.
