Digital marketing from our local Knoodlers

Get a website, be sure it’s mobile responsive and use Google analytics were the direct messages from FH Connect Networking Breakfast speakers from Knoodle. They presented to a group of over 60 members who are predominately small business owners.

Matthew Wilson, Partner/VP of Creative, and Jody DeSimone, Digital Director, of Knoodle presented very clear steps that businesses should take when designing their digital presence, including:
    • Digital advertising should take the place of the phone book ad you used to buy annually. It’s flexible, easily changed and you can control costs more easily.
    • Consistent branding and good use of white space.
    • Test your ad designs and content by experimenting with color.
    • Use Facebook as a supplemental communication tool in addition to your website.
    • Have a website professional designed and connected to Google analytics. Be sure to review the trends and make changes based on what you find consumers are doing when they reach (or don’t reach) your site.

It’s time to take action! If you own, manage or work for a small company with no website and no digital presence it’s like saying you’re not going to put gas in your car but you expect to drive everywhere. I know digital can be confusing but that’s no excuse. The success of your company partially depends on having a thoughtfully designed website and social media presence.

We have 15 members who operate in marketing, advertising, photography, website design and graphic design and can work with your budget. Large or small each offers some or all of the services you may need including photography, web design, SEO and full service advertising. I suggest talking to them by visiting here .
