Karen is Co-Owner and CEO of Guardian Training and Consulting. She was born and raised in Chicago, first in her family to go to college to earn a bachelor’s degree in Marketing in Art. It wasn’t long before she followed in her Father’s footsteps and joined the Chicago Police Department at the age of 25. After a 10 year career there, Karen went on to become one of our Nation’s Federal Air Marshals. While there she became a Firearm Instructor and played a key role in the Training Department in a few offices around the country.  Since retiring, Karen has settled in Fountain Hills with her husband and has dedicated her time to giving back to her community through offering Guardian’s training courses all throughout the valley and beyond.
