Monday Member Spotlight: Knoodle
While many Americans were planning on what type of chicken wings to serve on Superbowl Sunday, one member of the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce was gearing up for their spot on the biggest day in advertising. Knoodle, a full service advertising agency, created a commercial for Fulton Homes for February’s Super Bowl 51.
The commercial was an Alice in Wonderland-themed 30-second ad, marking the 15th year of business for the Tempe-based home builder. Knooddle created an ad specifically for the N.F.L. Championship game. According to Knoodle, “The new Fulton Homes’ ad will have a surrealistic theme depicting how an imaginative young girl views through the looking glass the reality of how a home is magically built. She steps into an imaginary world and sees the perfect house being created for the perfect buyer.”
“Fulton Homes has always encouraged us to explore new limits and creative boundaries for their Super Bowl ads,” said Matthew Wilson, a Knoodle Partner and VP of Creative. “Last year we created an animated ad that featured the well-known Fulton Homes red block letters various states of construction. This year we wanted to develop a dreamlike ad that will be memorable for viewers.”
Though the commercial was only aired in the Phoenix market, this is a huge deal for an advertising agency. Just last year, the Superbowl was the third watched television program in history, but just right here in Arizona, it was the state’s most watched television event ever. According to KPHO Channel 5, who broadcasted the game, the Superbowl brought in 112 million viewers. This year, it is estimated that number dipped to 111.3 viewers.
We are proud to have such a wonderful member, Knoodle, a part of the Fountain Hills Chamber. We are thrilled to see our members succeed in their line of business and help to put our community on the map. Way to go!
