Chamber doubles college scholarship support

The Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce is again supporting post-secondary education bound students through college tuition scholarships.

Annually, the Chamber has supported the Golden Eagle Foundation with one $500 scholarship but this year the organization is offering two for $500 each, totaling $1000.

Post-secondary education is an excellent way for a high school graduate to reach their career goals. We believe traditional college or technical school are important for long term success and are proud to support 2 scholarships this year.

The students will be vetted by the committee established through Golden Eagle Foundation which has been supporting students since 1992. Interested students can apply by visiting here. 

The Golden Eagle Education Foundation (GEEF) is a non-profit partnership of parents, students, business members and other supportive residents, who are committed to enhancing the education of students from Fountain Hills, the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation and the Verde River communities through scholarships, mentoring, innovative classroom projects and recognition of teachers and staff.
