SCORE to have Office Hours at FH Chamber

The Greater Phoenix Chapter of SCORE will be offering free mentoring to Fountain Hills entrepreneurs. SCORE provides mentoring (at no fee) to existing businesses as well as start-ups. 

Chamber members can get free mentoring in many areas, including marketing, operations, finance, human resources, and business planning. 

A schedule at the Chamber office will include the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month, at 10 AM and 11AM, and the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, at 3 PM and 4PM.  

SCORE clients will no longer have to travel to one of SCORE’s valley-wide mentoring sites.  The schedule can be accessed at the greaterphoenix.score.org web site.  Appointments can be made by the client on line or by phoning the SCORE office, 602-745-7250.

Bob Salzman, certified SCORE mentor will be available for mentoring at the Fountain Hills Chamber offices on the Tuesday AM slots.  A SCORE certified mentor who resides in Fountain Hills, George Obst is available for mentoring on the Tuesday PM slots  Their profiles can be viewed at the SCORE web site.

Chamber CEO, Scott Soldat-Valenzuela, announced that SCORE will offer workshops in Fountain Hills exclusively for Chamber members, in addition to the workshops they offer throughout the valley. Specific subjects to be announced will include internet optimization, marketing, and finance/bookkeeping (QuickBooks).  “It's critical the Chamber is an educational resource to the busienss community”, commented Scott; “partnering with SCORE is an important move to achieve adding value for our Chamber members”.
