Minimum wage, Park Place project to be discussed

The Thursday, April 28 Fountain Hills Chamber, Public Policy Committee meeting agenda includes Arizona’s minimum wage and and an update on the Park Place project slated for downtown Fountain Hills.

Minimum Wage Speaker
The Fountain Hills Chamber has not yet taken a position on this issue and would like to hear from local business owners and managers who will be impacted by a change in the current minimum wage of $8.05. Garrick Taylor, Sr. Vice President of Government Relations & Communications, Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will be speaking to the Public Policy Committee about both sides of the issue. 

Park Place Project Update
Bart Shea, Developer of the proposed Park Place project, on the Avenue of the Fountains will be giving the Public Policy Committee an update. Bart spoke last year to the Committee and presented the project, timeline and opportunities.
