Hollywood Holidays for Thanksgiving Day Parade
Here comes the annual Thanksgiving Day Parade in Fountain Hills. The only Turkey Day parade west of Mississippi and frankly the best hometown parade anywhere!
Each year local businesses, civic groups, and community members suit-up, rev-up and mosey-up for the best Thanksgiving Day holiday morning in beautiful Fountain Hills, Arizona. From costumes, themed outfits and uniforms to funny cars, goofy floats and a few of local politicians, the annual Fountain Hills Thanksgiving Day Parade is a smorgasbord of local hometown fun.
The parade starts early enough that your Thanksgiving Day turkey will still be cooking. Remember to tell grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins to arrive by 9am in Fountain Hills for the feast of fun characters that range from the Fountain Hills High School Marching Band to mini horses.
The 2016 Fountain Hills Thanksgiving Day Parade features eight categories up for grabs, including Best of Show, Best Civic/Business Float, Best Church/Children Affiliation, Best Marching/Walking Group, Best Motorized Entry and Best Equestrian. The 2015 winners are published here.
