Monday Member Spotlight: Arizona's Most Beautiful Town
Happy Monday Member Spotlight, everyone! This week, we wanted to do something a little different… Typically, we choose a member of the Chamber to write about, but this week we wanted to highlight a really cool thing that happened to Fountain Hills recently: Expedia has named Fountain Hills as “Arizona’s Most Beautiful Town”!
Expedia is one of the travel industry’s most successful and respectful outlets. In addition to offering deals on travel and helping people plan their trips, Expedia has an entire part of their website devoted to blogs that feature articles about things to do, attractions, events, and more. They recently published an article titled “The Most Beautiful Towns in Each State”, and Fountain Hills was listed for the state of Arizona!
The blurb that mentions our community in the article is below:
“You’ll probably see the water spraying out into the sky long before you arrive in Fountain Hills. Shooting up 560 feet, the famous flume reaches higher than the Washington Monument. While the city is home to one of the world’s largest fountains, its beauty is apparent in a number of ways: Explore the Fountain Hills Botanical Garden to marvel at the desert plants and hike Sonoran Trail for sweeping views of the lower Verde Valley.”
Wow!
The list of other beautiful towns in America include Gulf Shores in Alabama, Grand Lake in Colorado, and Pine Mountain in Georgia. It is so great that Fountain Hills is considered to be in the same category of beauty as these amazing towns all across the country.
Do you want to read the entire article and see the other 49 of America’s most beautiful towns? If so, you can read it on Expedia’s website HERE.
