Betsy LaVoie
FH Chamber CEO

As a proud resident of Fountain Hills since 1978, I have witnessed firsthand the remarkable growth of our community, from its humble beginnings of 900 residents when we moved here to the vibrant town it has become today. From my early childhood to my formative years as a young adult, I have actively participated in the evolution of Fountain Hills, both as a business owner and as a dedicated member of a growing family.

My extensive and diverse work background has granted me invaluable insight into the challenges faced by business owners in our distinctive town. While every town claims its uniqueness, Fountain Hills stands out with its small population and the influx of transient snowbird residents. The presence of a large number of snowbirds significantly impacts our community, given our small population, and presents unique ebbs and flows for business owners.

In addition to my professional endeavors, I take immense pride in being a devoted mother to two children enrolled in the esteemed Fountain Hills Unified School District. It is my personal investment in the future of our community that fuels my dedication to making a positive impact.

Since joining the Chamber of Commerce in 2019, I have had the privilege of assuming the role of CEO and President. This position allows me to channel my passion and pride into effectively promoting the businesses, nonprofits, and organizations that contribute to the economic vitality of our town. With unwavering enthusiasm, I strive to foster collaboration and growth within Fountain Hills for the betterment of our entire community.

In summary, my lifelong connection to Fountain Hills, coupled with my extensive work experience and commitment to family and community, positions me as an advocate and catalyst for the continued success and prosperity of our unique town.
