Why Wine Walks?
The Wine Walk is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to welcome the community into their spaces with themed wine and food pairings Last season, the Happy Hour Wine Walk brought over 850 people through our business doors, offering a unique advertising opportunity.
Please plan on providing wine samples and pairings for approximately 80-150 people.
Chamber Members in the designated TAMA areas are welcome to participate. First-time participants are not required to be a Chamber Member.

September 6th, Oktoberfest with Hungary & Austria
October 4th, France Wines
November 1st, Thanksgiving Day Pairing Wine
January 10th, Sparkling Wines
February 7th, Surprise - Margaritaville
March 7th, TBD
WINE WALK HOST REQUIREMENTS:
There are a few items we say are required to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.
- Commitments are required 3 weeks prior to the event.
- Purchase wine approx $150/case. Hosts must order their own wine and pay in full at time of order.
- Determine your decor for pre-selected theme
- Must provide some snacks/food paired with the wine you are purchasing
- Balloons outside door to attract
- You must have your own bouncer at the door throughout the entire event with a dump bucket.
- Sign posted no alcohol beyond this door
- Must have corkscrew
- Please use any email list, newsletters, communication, social media posts to increase awareness and advertise of event Please tag the chamber and share chamber posts as well, including liking and posting on the facebook event
- Have all ready by 2:45pm on day of event
WINE PURCHASE, PAYMENTS & PICK UP:
- Fill out order form and Bring order sheet to Grapeables same week as liquor license
- Note Grapeable's hours
- $100 deposit due at time of ordering
- Pick up your order during grapeables hours thursday before event (you may not wait until the Friday of event to pick up due to Grapeables hours and time of event )
STAFFING RECOMMENDATIONS:
- 3-4 staff or volunteers at each location
- 1 person pouring
- 1 person bouncer
- manager/Owner greeting and mingling with the guests
SUPPORT FROM YOUR CHAMBER
- Special Event Town Permit
- Special Event Liquor License
- Check-in and carding procedures
- Wine glasses and wristbands
- Check-in station
- Information distribution
- Additional advertising support (e.g., door flyers/posters, Facebook event page)
- Staffing and name tags for greeting guests
- Reposting tagged social media content
